Instructions

Double-click on the map to add waypoints
Move waypoints to adjust the route
Click on a waypoint to a popup menu where:

the waypoint's altitude can be adjusted,
the adjacent segment can be splitted,
the waypoint can be removed.

Switch between ground risk and air risk views using buttons in the top right corner of the map
Change the Near Mid-Air Collision distance and the drone speed using the sliders below the map
The width of the ground risk buffer is defined by the altitude (adjusted with the slider for the whole route, or for individual waypoints in the popup) in accordance with 1:1 rule from EASA's AMC/GM to EU Regulation 2021/947.
Enable flyaway scenarios (in line with the latest SORA draft) and set the flyaway distance
Near Mid-Air Collision rate is estimated using an approach similar to the approach described in Section III.D of "Quantitative air risk assessment for a drone inspection mission along fast-train lines" paper.

Save / Load mission

Disclaimer: the exported JSON format is unstable and backward compatibility is not guaranteed. Files saved with one version of the tool may fail to load (or load incorrectly) in future versions as parameters, slider ranges, and computations evolve. Importing replaces the current mission and slider values; the segment-extension toggle and per-waypoint altitude/smoothness are not stored.
